Oklahoma Hunting

ok1If you would like to hunt for big, mature Midwest Whitetail Deer Bucks (no does) and don't want to wait year after year to get drawn for a tag, this is where you want to come hunt. You can hunt these deer with a bow (October-January), a muzzleloader (9 days in October) or rifle (16 days in November and December).  All hunting is done on over thousands acres of habitat consisting cornfields, CPR, sloughs, natural grass fields and shelterbelts, active trails and corn feeders. While having a lot of prime land is great, if you don't have the game to go with the land, well hunting may not be very good.

The hunt takes place in Buffalo, Oklahoma that is only a stone's throw from the Kansas border. If flying, fly into Oklahoma City, rent a car and drive about three hours north west to Buffalo.

Hunting method is still hunting from ladder stands or ground blinds.

ok2Food and lodging is provided on this 5 day hunt. You will be staying at the Woolly Bison Inn and eating your meals at the outfitters house in town.

Weather is very unpredictable at that time of year so you need to be prepared for hot, cold, rain and snow.
