Big Deer and Big Spring Black Bear are what you come to Saskatchewan to hunt for. If you have ever wanted to hunt the prairie lands of Saskatchewan this may be just the stimulus you need. Reputed for big deer, their bears aren't anything to overlook either. They have about a 40% color phase bears. If these are on your bucket list, saddle up and let's go.
If you fly, you will fly into Saskatoon rent car or for a fee to be determined the Outfitter will pick up and take you back. It is a 4 hour drive. If you drive, you will definitely need to have a capable 4 wheel drive vehicle for the deer hunt.
Deer & Bear hunts are 7 nights/6 days: Arrive in camp on Sunday afternoon, leave out the following Saturday morning.

Included above for the hunt is: All meals and lodging while in camp, guide services, skinning and quartering the meat for transport from camp.
Not included the above hunt is: transportation to and from camp, meals and lodging before or after the scheduled duration of the hunt, license, tags, taxidermy, airline meat boxes, meat and antler shipping/packaging, meat butchering & freezing, gratuities and incidental expenses.
Checks are made out to hook-n-hunt. hook-n-hunt will keep a log of payments and send you a copy. The balance of the hunt (base hunt fee) is due 45 days before the scheduled hunt date. Licenses can be purchased on-line or when you arrive. You will need to establish a "HAL" ID account with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment. This needs to be done on-line and before you can purchase a license.
Additional details on where to stay, gear list, etc. will all be provided well in advance of the hunt. The outfitter will do everything he can to work with you if you need to reschedule so long as one is current with their payments. Cut off dates for rescheduling are 150 days before the hunt is scheduled. As always with these types of hunts deposits and monies paid are non-refundable; rescheduling and reassignment of the hunt to another individual is always possible. Cancellation insurance should be considered as this hunt should be viewed as an investment and as such protected against unforeseen events that would be covered by the cancellation insurance. The outfitters is licensed.
Accommodations are very rustic cabins with no running water. The main lodge include full kitchen, dining area and great room with wood stove & Satellite TV and two full bathrooms. Meals (breakfast & dinner) are home cooked daily. Sack lunches are provided when you are out in the field during the day.
